Therapeutic Art Sessions

Ongoing · Colchester, UK

One-to-one and group art sessions designed to support mental and physical wellbeing through creative expression. No art experience required — the process is the point.

Therapeutic Art Sessions offer a different kind of creative experience — one where the outcome matters less than the journey. These sessions are designed for people who want to use art as a way to manage stress, process difficult emotions, or simply find a quiet, focused space in a busy life.

Sessions are facilitated by Ife and draw on her background in community art-making. They are not art therapy in a clinical sense, but they are informed by an understanding of how creative activity can support wellbeing, build confidence, and create a sense of agency.

Both one-to-one and small group formats are available. Sessions typically last 90 minutes and involve guided making using reclaimed and natural materials. No previous art experience is necessary — the materials, the process, and the pace are all adapted to each participant.

Sessions are available to individuals, community groups, care homes, and organisations looking to support employee wellbeing.
